Shortcuts to all the most common editing functions in Turtl

In the Turtl editor, you can right-click on any Immerse page widget to open a widget-specific menu. This menu lets you easily format, rearrange, move, and delete widgets on your Immerse page. The menu can be also accessed by hovering over the top right corner of the widget and clicking the 3 dots. Let’s look at each option in detail.

Changing the style of your Text box

  1. Hover over the text box you wish to edit and either right-click on your mouse or press the 3 dots in the corner

  2. Select the Style button from the menu

  3. Choose from a range of style options that have been pre-defined with your brand theme

Changing the widget opacity

Some widgets have the option to change their background opacity.

  1. Hover over the text box you wish to edit and either right-click on your mouse or press the 3 dots in the corner

  2. Select the Background opacity button from the menu

  3. Adjust the opacity of your widget by moving the slider to your desired percentage

Changing the corner radius of a widget

  1. Hover over the text box you wish to edit and either right-click on your mouse or press the 3 dots in the corner

  2. Select the Corner radius button from the menu

  3. Adjust the corner radius by entering the rounding values in em. You can choose to change all corners at once or individually

Moving and arranging widgets

Note: Widgets must be pinned to use these editing features.

Moving a widget

  1. Hover over the widget you wish to move and either right-click on your mouse or press the 3 dots in the corner

  2. Select the move button from the menu

  3. Choose which page you want to move the widget to

  4. Once the widget is moved, the page will flip to the selected page

Arranging your widgets

  1. Hover over the widget you wish to modify and either right-click on your mouse or press the 3 dots in the corner

  2. Select the Arrange button from the menu

  3. Choose whether you want to bring your widget forward or backward

Note: Rearranging widgets may affect your layout on mobile devices so make sure to check the mobile preview before publishing. You can read more about editing mobile view here.

Aligning the text of your Text Box

  1. Hover over the text box you wish to edit and either right-click on your mouse or press the 3 dots in the corner

  2. Select the Vertical alignment button from the menu

  3. Choose your preferred text alignment: top, middle, or bottom.

Replacing an image

  1. Hover over the widget you wish to edit and either right-click on your mouse or press the 3 dots in the corner

  2. Select the replace image button from the menu

  3. Here, you can choose a new image to directly replace the original image, keeping the same dimensions and arrangements

Right-clicking on an image also gives you the option to crop your image and open configuration, where you can add a caption, insert a hyperlink, and edit the mobile view.
