You can tailor your password policies to better align with your security needs and compliance standards.

Requesting a password policy change

To request a change to your password policy, please open a support ticket with our support team. In your request, clearly state the password policy changes you require and include any relevant details or specific requirements.

If there are settings you wish to keep unchanged, you can simply leave them out of your request.

Password policy settings

To maintain robust security practices, you have the option to request adjustments to the following password policy settings:

  • Minimum password length: X characters.

  • Require uppercase letters: yes/no.

  • Require lowercase letters: yes/no.

  • Require numbers: yes/no.

  • Require special characters: yes/no.

  • Require new passwords to be different from previous passwords: X previous passwords.

  • Require the password to be different from the email: yes/no.

  • Require the password to not be in a known password breach: yes/no.

Login lockout policy

For heightened account security and prevention of unauthorized access, you can also request modifications to the following login lockout policy settings:

  • Maximum number of failed logins before lockout: X.

  • Expire a failed login after X minutes.

  • Lockout period: X minutes/force password reset.
