A Map widget allows you to embed any Google map in Turtl, helping your readers visualize locations. Readers will be able to open and view maps without leaving your Turtl Doc.

In this article, we'll walk you through the basics of adding, resizing, and adding captions to a map widget to enhance your reader experience and increase reader engagement.

Add a Map widget

  1. Click the "+ Add content" button.

  2. Select "Map" from the Content menu.

3. In Google Maps, select "Share" on your chosen map.

4. On the "Embed a map tab" tab, copy the HTML code.

5. Paste the Google Map embed code into the text field in the "Insert map" window.

6. Click Upload.

A thumbnail of the map will be automatically generated. Readers will be able to click on it to view your embedded map in a lightbox without leaving the Turtl Doc.
