Captions can be placed below widgets to provide additional information or instructions. They are often used to give credit, explain the widget's purpose, or inform users that the widget is interactive.

You can add captions to the following Immerse widgets:

Add a caption

  1. Open the widget configuration window.

    1. Click on the "More options" in the Widget menu

    2. Hover over a widget in Content page editor until the Widget toolbar appears at the top. Click Settings.

  2. Click on the "Caption" tab.

  3. Enter your caption text in the "Text" input field.

  4. Select the caption’s alignment from the dropdown menu.

  5. Press "OK" to save the caption.

Formatting caption

Captions can be formatted with markdown symbols * or _ as bold or italic.

  • For Italic - insert one asterisk * or one underscore _ to either side of the word(s) you would like to italicize.

  • For bold - insert two asterisks ** or two underscores __ to either side of the word(s) you would like to bold.

Example: Here is *my* image **caption**

The word "my" will appear in italics and the word "caption" in bold.

Note: The default formatting of a widget caption (bold or italic) can be customized for your brand theme.
