Note: This feature is available if you have purchased the Personalization module and are on a Professional or Unlimited plan.

This article describes how to restrict who can personalize your master Docs - on one, anybody, or people at your company.

You can also restrict who can view the resulting personalization by specifying a set of email addresses.

Once you’ve finished setting up your Doc for personalization and clicked the ‘Publish’ button, you’ll be asked to finalize the title and description of your Doc, the access level setting for it, and lastly who can personalize it.

The next step will allow you to set who can personalize your Doc from the following options:

1. Off (default) - Personalization will be turned off for your Doc so no one will be able to Personalize your Doc.

2. People at my company - Only those in your organization who are personalizers, editors, publishers, or owners of the workspace where the Doc is can personalize the Doc. This setting enables self-service and batch personalizations.

3. Anyone - Anyone can personalize the Doc when they read it. It will show the personalization form on the cover and can't be read without personalizing first. This setting enables public personalization.

Note: There is a possibility to manage these personalization settings prior to or post-publishing via Doc settings.
