Please note:

This article explains how to change your Doc's default text, including the 'Read on' and 'Contents' buttons. To learn how to translate the content of your Doc, see Translate content and set up a language switcher in Turtl Docs.

If you have changed the 'Read on' button text from the default ‘Read on’, the text won’t be translated.

Watch this 2-minute video to learn:

  • What elements within a Doc are translated once a language is selected

  • What elements within a Doc are not translated once a language is selected

  • Where to locate the Language button while creating a Doc

  • How to change the language button on a Doc that has been created

Change the language of any Turtl Doc by selecting 'Settings' from the Doc's drop-down menu next to 'Edit'.

Simply click into the 'Language' tab and choose from the list of languages.
