You can adjust the letter spacing to get rid of widows and orphans within the editor by using the increase/decrease letter spacing feature.
Position your cursor at the end of the text and click on the increase or decrease letter spacing buttons. This will bring up a user interface that shows the change in letter spacing in em units.
Another option is to utilize keyboard shortcuts by pressing CTRL + ALT + the left or right arrow keys to adjust spacing. Pressing the left arrow key will decrease spacing, while the right arrow key will increase it.
Note: Mac users press Control + Option + either the left or right arrow keys.
To return to standard spacing, use the CTRL + ALT + 0 keys.
Mac users utilize the Control + Option + 0 keys.
